An Integrated Approach to Healing
With over a decade of experience working with children, adults, and families in Charleston, SC, my approach blends traditional psychotherapy, yoga therapy, breathwork, and trauma-informed care. My work is guided by:
✔ Psychodynamic therapy, addressing deeper emotional patterns
✔ Yoga therapy & breathwork, bridging the connection between body and mind
✔ A trauma-informed lens, recognizing how stress and trauma are stored in the body
✔ A holistic approach, honoring the mind-body-spirit connection
Healing is not about "fixing"—it’s about reconnecting with your body’s wisdom, increasing self-awareness, and expanding your capacity for joy and resilience.
My Path to This Work
I grew up on a rural Midwest farm, spending most of my childhood outdoors—playing, working, and soaking in the wide-open spaces. From a young age, I found myself naturally holding space for others, listening deeply to their stories.
After college, I packed up my car and moved to South Carolina, where I worked with children and families through various nonprofit organizations. During this time, I sought therapy for myself, which ignited my passion for the field. This calling led me to Seattle, WA, where I pursued my Master’s in Counseling Psychology at The Seattle School of Theology & Psychology (TSS).
At TSS, I engaged in deep personal and academic work—integrating faith, psychology, and culture, while also undergoing my own therapeutic process. My training was rooted in psychodynamic talk therapy, providing a strong foundation for my future work.
Upon returning to Charleston in 2014, I realized something was missing. Talk therapy was powerful, but what about the body, breath, and emotional intelligence? I turned to yoga therapy and breathwork, which transformed both my personal healing and my professional practice. Through Phoenix Rising Yoga Therapy (PRYT) and trauma-informed training, I learned to incorporate the body's wisdom into each session—offering clients a more holistic, embodied approach to healing.
Creating Space for Your Journey
Today, I offer holistic therapy, yoga therapy, and individual & group breathwork in Charleston, SC and virtually. My goal is to help you reconnect with your intuition, process emotions safely, and expand your sense of self through movement, breath, laughter, and deep listening.
Healing is a journey—one of self-awareness, embodiment, and growth. If you’re ready to take the next step, I’d love to support you.
